GETTING HERE

Naples is served by its own Municipal airport, which largely caters for private planes and seasonal scheduled flights.

Fort Myers (South West Florida International) Airport boasts a new terminal and connections to most major Cities in the USA. It also has flights on most days direct from Germany by the LTU Airline. At certain times of year, connecting from the UK via Atlanta or even New York to Fort Myers can be more cost effective than flying direct to Miami.

Most visitors arriving from Europe to Naples fly to Miami and rent a car. The drive to Naples, across Alligator Alley - these days the Interstate I95 - takes about two hours.

The Briarwood Estate is easily reached off Livingstone Road through the gate house. It is about five minutes from Golden Gate Parkway exit on I95.

Naples, unusually, has an extensive web of bus routes with a stop close to Briarwood but a trip downtown does involve changing buses. A Hire (rental) car is recommended.
